Low-dose naltrexone (LDN) is increasingly being studied as a potential treatment for chronic neuropathic pain, fibromyalgia, and complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS).
Although originally developed to treat opioid dependence, low doses appear to modulate the immune and nervous systems and may reduce neuroinflammation. Early research suggests LDN may benefit some people with chronic pain, although larger clinical trials are still needed.
