You're in the right place

If you're dealing with facial pain or chronic pain and feeling lost — take a breath. We'll calmly explain where to start. No rush, no judgment.

Your pain is real. Just because "nothing is visible" doesn't mean nothing is wrong.

Trigeminal nerve pain can be sudden and piercing like an electric shock, or constant and burning with no relief. Sometimes loved ones and doctors don't immediately understand what you're going through. I know how much that hurts — not just physically. That's why this place exists.

Remember: this site provides knowledge and support, but does not replace a doctor. If you have severe facial pain or concerning symptoms, see a neurologist.

Where to begin

  1. Give yourself a moment. Diagnosis and naming what you feel is a process. You don't have to understand everything right away.
  2. Learn the basics. Find out what trigeminal neuralgia and neuropathy are — it helps you talk to your doctor and tame the fear.
  3. Prepare for your appointment. Write down when the pain comes, what triggers attacks, and how long they last. A "pain diary" is invaluable for your doctor.
  4. Don't stay alone with this. Read other people's stories, join a community of people who are going through it too.
