My Life Changed at Twenty-Five

2025-12-04

After surgery to remove a tumor, my trigeminal nerve was injured. The pain became a constant companion, and for years I searched for answers before finally receiving a diagnosis.

Living with painful trigeminal neuropathy taught me that the deepest wounds are often invisible. What changed everything was finding a community of people who truly understood what it means to wake up and fall asleep in pain.

Their presence did not heal my nerve, but it helped heal the loneliness. Sometimes the greatest medicine is simply hearing someone say, “I understand. We’re walking this road together.”
